Roma’s fan base took to social media to release a strongly-worded statement expressing their dissatisfaction

In the highly anticipated showdown against Inter, the iconic Curva Sud at Stadio Olimpico will remain silent for the first 15 minutes as Roma's loyal ultras stage a protest against the Friedkin family's management of the club.

Serie A 2024/2025: Results & Standings

Roma’s fan base took to social media to release a strongly-worded statement expressing their dissatisfaction:

"To make our discontent crystal clear, especially considering the significance of this match, Curva Sud will stay empty for the first 15 minutes of Roma vs Inter. This is our protest against the management, who have not followed through on their promises. Simply spending money is not enough to lead Roma—you need to build and represent a club that every Roma fan can identify with and be proud of. Since that’s not happening, we call on all Roma fans in every section of the stadium to join us in this protest. Friedkin family, we demand a change of course!"

The Friedkin family took over ownership of Roma in 2020, with grand ambitions of returning the club to its former glory. However, the results have fallen short, with Roma finishing 6th in Serie A three times and 7th once under their leadership. Now, the fans are demanding action and tangible progress to fulfill the promises made by the ownership.
