Roma are reportedly looking to bolster their attacking options, particularly on the wings, with the club’s management confident that the center-forward position has been solidified following the signing of Ukrainian striker Artem Dovbyk. However, there are still questions about the depth and quality on the flanks.

Serie A 2024/2025: Results & Standings

In light of this, Roma have expressed interest in Barcelona’s academy graduate Ansu Fati. Once considered one of the brightest talents in world football, the 21-year-old winger has struggled with injuries and inconsistent form, preventing him from reaching his full potential. After a loan spell at Brighton last season, Fati has returned to Barcelona but has found first-team opportunities hard to come by.

As a natural left winger, Fati could be a valuable addition to Roma’s squad, where the only current option in that position is Stephan El Shaarawy, who has reportedly underwhelmed the coaching staff with his recent performances.

A potential move to Roma could offer Fati the fresh start he needs to rediscover his form and continue his development at the top level of European football.
