Doctor Cugat has named the reason why the Barça player is out

Doctor Ramon Cugat, who operated on Barcelona player Ansu Fati, named the reason why the Catalans' player was injured again.

One of the most promising players was injured for the 10th time in the last four years. This is the second injury for Ansu this season. In July, Fati injured his knee, was out for 50 days and missed the final preparations and the start of the new season.

"I performed the surgery on Ansu Fati, but I was not responsible for his rehabilitation. The knee healed completely, and there were no issues with it. Ansu's father told me that the knee is fine, and the current problem is with his hamstrings, not the knee itself.

What happened was that the stitches reopened because the player overworked himself, training twice a day instead of once. This caused swelling in the knee. The issue was not with the surgery but with the rehabilitation process. I believe the doctor who performs the surgery should coordinate with the person managing the rehabilitation.

Ansu Fati can return to his previous level, as his knee is in perfect condition-100%", said Cugat.

22-year-old Ansu Fatiu has already spent more than 700 days out since the start of his career.
