The front row for the US Grand Prix will feature championship contenders Lando Norris and Max Verstappen

Seven-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton will start from 19th position at the United States Grand Prix, marking his worst qualifying result in seven years.

During qualifying in Austin, the British driver failed to make it out of the first segment, resulting in his 19th place start for today’s race.

The last time Hamilton started this far back was at the 2017 Brazilian Grand Prix, where he began from 20th after a crash in the first segment.

Meanwhile, the front row for the US Grand Prix will feature championship contenders Lando Norris in his McLaren and Max Verstappen in his Red Bull. Verstappen currently holds a 54-point lead over his rivals in the standings.

The race at Circuit of the Americas in Austin will begin today, October 20, at 21:00 CET.
