Serie A has officially canceled the ninth-round match between Bologna and Milan.

The game was originally scheduled for Saturday at Bologna’s home ground, the Dall'Ara Stadium. However, severe flooding in the Emilia-Romagna region has left the stadium unusable.

A backup venue in Como was considered but was also ruled out due to adverse weather conditions. An alternative plan to play in Empoli was also dismissed after an emergency meeting held earlier this evening.

With both teams facing a packed schedule, the match will not be rescheduled in 2024. The new date for the Bologna vs. Milan fixture will be announced at a later time.
