The much-anticipated Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024/25 between cricketing giants India and Australia kicks off this Friday, November 22. The series, featuring five Test matches, promises thrilling cricket as both teams battle for supremacy in one of the most prestigious rivalries in the sport.

A Historic Rivalry Since its inception in 1996, the Border-Gavaskar Trophy has become a symbol of fierce competition and respect between two cricketing powerhouses. India currently holds the trophy, having secured a historic series win in 2023. Of the 16 series contested so far, Australia has won 5, India 10, with one series ending in a draw.
