Dumfries has officially signed a new contract with Inter

Denzel Dumfries has officially signed a new contract with Inter. Today it became known that the players will remain at the club until the summer of 2028.

Negotiations with the Dutch national team player lasted several months, as his current contract expired in June 2025. Several Premier League clubs were interested in the player, including Manchester United, Everton and Aston Villa, but Denzel eventually decided to stay in Italy.

According to Calciomercato.com, under the new contract the defender will receive a salary of €4 million per season, which is 40 percent higher than his current income.

In the summer of 2021 Inter signed Dumfries from PSV Eindhoven for €14.25 million. After three years in Italy, the 28-year-old scored 13 goals and made 21 assists in 147 matches.
