Inter vs Milan

Former Inter Milan defender Walter Samuel has shared his thoughts on the upcoming Supercoppa Italiana clash between the Nerazzurri and AC Milan. Speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Argentine icon noted just how dangerous their city rivals can be, particularly under the guidance of a new head coach.

“It’s going to be a tough match. AC Milan are a threat, and they’re fueled by the momentum of having a fresh manager at the helm. But it remains a derby, even though it won’t be played at San Siro,” said Samuel.

At the same time, he believes Inter Milan are on par with the best teams in the game right now: “They’re in great form. They showed they deserved to beat Atalanta in the first half of their last match. Still, they need to keep their feet on the ground because there’s half a season left to play.”

Samuel also praised head coach Simone Inzaghi for assembling an impressive squad capable of competing in every tournament. “One thing is clear: Inzaghi has a fantastic group at his disposal, but now is exactly the time to be cautious.”

The Supercoppa Italiana showdown between Inter Milan and AC Milan is set to kick off at 20:00 CET. Fans worldwide are eager to see if Samuel’s former club will maintain their momentum or if their rivals will seize the chance to make a statement under their new leadership.
