Omar Marmoush Set to Join Manchester City
According to the legendary insider Fabrizio Romano, Eintracht Frankfurt's top scorer, Omar Marmoush, has successfully passed his medical examination ahead of his transfer to Manchester City and has been deemed fit. It is expected that the deal will be officially announced today by the end of the day.
This is likely to be the second-largest transfer of the winter window, following Khvicha Kvaratskhelia's move from Napoli to PSG for €75 million. However, according to some sources, Marmoush's transfer might surpass that with a reported €80 million fee. The Egyptian forward is expected to sign a five-year contract with the "Citizens."
This is not Manchester City's first winter signing. Recently, the club announced the acquisition of central defender Abdikodir Khusanov from Lens and the Uzbekistan national team. Additionally, it is anticipated that Palmeiras center-back Vitor Reis will also sign a contract with the club in the near future.
