Ukrainian shared his admiration for Italian football and his hopes for a future move

Georgiy Sudakov, the talented midfielder from Shakhtar Donetsk, has expressed his desire to play in Serie A, calling it the ideal league for his development. In an interview with Corriere dello Sport, Sudakov shared his admiration for Italian football and his hopes for a future move.

"Italy is a country with a rich football history, tactical gameplay, and passionate fans. For a midfielder with my qualities, Serie A could be the perfect league to grow. They have many top-class midfielders, excellent tactical coaches, and the football is very intense. Moreover, many Ukrainian players have already made their mark in Italy," Sudakov said.

The 21-year-old also explained why a move to Serie A hasn't happened yet:

"We received offers from Juventus and Napoli. I never said no. I would love to test myself in Serie A, especially in teams with so many stars, but the final decision rests with the managers and the president of my club. Napoli made an offer, but Shakhtar decided I should stay. We'll see what happens next."
