Kyle Walker has commented on his move to the Italian club

Milan newcomer Kyle Walker has commented on his move to the Italian club from Manchester City.

The 33-year-old right-back joins the Rossoneri on a free loan deal until the end of the 2024–2025 season, with an option to make the transfer permanent for €5 million.

“Ciao Milan, I’m delighted and proud to sign for AC Milan! A club with such rich history, one I’ve followed since I was a kid. It’s an honour to join and I can’t wait to pull on the Rossoneri shirt and get started,” Walker wrote in an Instagram.

“I’m very much looking forward to this new chapter in my career and to beginning this journey with my family in Italy.

“Finally a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way, both on and off the pitch. See you soon!”

This transfer marks AC Milan’s first signing of the January transfer window, as the Italian giants look to bolster their defensive options for the remainder of the season.
