Portuguese winger Jota Neves has officially completed his return to Celtic, signing a contract with the Glasgow club until the summer of 2030. Celtic paid €10 million to French side Rennes to bring their former star back to Scotland.

The deal marks a significant financial gain for Celtic, who had previously sold Jota to Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad for €29.1 million just 18 months ago, effectively earning around €20 million from his transfers.

During his stint in the Saudi Pro League, Jota made 25 appearances, scoring five goals and providing one assist. However, his subsequent move to Rennes for €8 million didn't go as planned, with the Portuguese winger featuring in just 10 matches, registering one goal and one assist.

Jota's previous tenure at Celtic was far more productive, with the 25-year-old winger making 83 appearances, scoring 28 goals, and contributing 26 assists, becoming a fan favorite at Parkhead.
