Dembélé became the first player in PSG history to score a hat-trick in two consecutive matches

Paris Saint-Germain extended their lead at the top of the Ligue 1 standings, defeating Brest 5-2 on Sunday. The standout performer of the match was none other than Ousmane Dembélé, who netted an incredible hat-trick, taking center stage for the Parisians.

With this remarkable achievement, Dembélé became the first player in PSG history to score a hat-trick in two consecutive matches, as reported by Opta Sports. The French winger had already showcased his scoring prowess earlier in the week, scoring three goals in the Champions League against VfB Stuttgart on Wednesday.

As if that wasn’t impressive enough, Opta Sports also highlighted that Dembélé is currently the top scorer in Europe's top five leagues across all competitions in 2025, with 11 goals to his name. The current leaderboard for the most goals in 2025 reads as follows:

Top Scorers in 2025 (All Competitions):
11 – Ousmane Dembélé (PSG)
8 – Lautaro Martínez (Inter Milan)
8 – Kylian Mbappé (Real Madrid)
