Angeliño Saves Roma from Defeat Against Napoli
AS Roma hosted Napoli and managed to escape with a draw after a dramatic finish. Roma's manager, Claudio Ranieri, opted for an experimental lineup, which saw Napoli take the lead in the first half.
After the break, Ranieri made several key substitutions, bringing on Alexis Saelemaekers, Paulo Dybala, and Ukrainian forward Artem Dovbyk. It was the Belgian winger, Saelemaekers, who delivered a perfectly timed cross in the dying moments of the match. Angeliño, the Spanish full-back on loan from Manchester City, rose above the defence to powerfully head the ball into the net in the 92nd minute, securing a crucial point for Roma.
Following this dramatic 1-1 draw, Napoli remain at the top of Serie A, while AS Roma sit in 9th place, still fighting to secure a European spot for next season.
