Juventus have secured the signing of central defender Lloyd Kelly from Newcastle United. The 26-year-old Englishman arrived in Turin on Sunday evening to undergo his medical tests, finalizing a loan move with an obligation to buy.

Juventus will pay €3 million for the loan until the end of the season, with a mandatory purchase clause set at €14 million should the club decide to make the move permanent.

This transfer makes Lloyd Kelly the fourth player to join Juventus in the January window, following Alberto Costa, Renato Veiga, and Randal Kolo Muani.

So far this season, Kelly has featured in 14 matches for Newcastle United, registering one assist as part of the club's solid defensive setup in the first half of the campaign.
