Official: João Félix Joins AC Milan on Loan from Chelsea
AC Milan have confirmed that forward João Félix has completed his loan move from Chelsea and signed a contract until June 2025.
The Portuguese striker becomes one of five players acquired by Milan during the January transfer window.
Italian media reports suggest that Milan did not include a purchase option in the deal with Chelsea, as the asking price for a permanent transfer was deemed too high by the Rossoneri. It was also revealed that the player's agent, Jorge Mendes, played a pivotal role in the negotiations, convincing Chelsea to lower their terms for the loan agreement.
Prior to his time at Chelsea, João Félix had stints at Benfica, Atlético Madrid, and Barcelona. This season, the 24-year-old has scored seven goals and provided two assists in 20 appearances for Chelsea across all competitions.
Creativity, flair and pure talent 🤩
