AC Milan Reaches Agreement with Mike Maignan on New Contract
AC Milan has reportedly reached a verbal agreement with goalkeeper Mike Maignan on a new contract that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2028. According to transfer expert Matteo Moretto, the French international has agreed to terms that will see him earn a base salary of around €5 million per season, putting him on par with teammates Christian Pulisic and Theo Hernández.
Maignan, who has been a standout performer for Milan since joining from Lille in 2021, is currently the second-highest earner at the club, behind Rafael Leão. His current deal was set to expire in 2026, but the new agreement ensures that the Rossoneri retain one of the best goalkeepers in world football for the foreseeable future.
The 28-year-old has been instrumental in Milan's recent success, helping the team win the Serie A title in 2022 and reach the semi-finals of the Champions League in 2023.
