Roberto De Zerbi

Ahead of tonight’s crucial Ligue 1 showdown with PSG, Marseille head coach Roberto De Zerbi shared his views on both teams, their psychological approach to the game, and his own influence on the southern club’s success this season. Currently, PSG lead the league, while Marseille sit second—16 points behind.

France - Ligue 1: Fixtures, Results & Standings

“In my view, PSG have improved psychologically, and Luis Enrique has definitely contributed to that—we can do the same,” De Zerbi remarked. “That’s why the mental side of football matters so much to me.”

He continued: “Honestly, I don’t think Marseille would have achieved the same results this season under a different coach. I’m not saying I’m tactically better than anyone, but one of my main strengths is never settling for ‘good’ results. I always want more.”

The match between PSG and Marseille kicks off at 20:45 CET, with both sides eager to prove themselves in one of France’s most anticipated fixtures.
