Isco has publicly called on Real Betis to extend Antony’s loan from Manchester United, praising the Brazilian’s impact since joining the La Liga side in January.

The former Ajax winger has scored four goals and provided four assists in just 12 appearances across all competitions. Since Antony’s arrival, Betis have lost just twice and are currently on a six-match winning streak in La Liga, capped by a derby victory over Sevilla on Sunday.

La Liga: Fixtures, Results & Standings

We need to start raising funds to keep him here for at least another year!” Isco told DAZN with a smile. “Things have changed since he arrived. He gives us a lot on and off the pitch. I’m glad he’s here — he’s surprised us all with his humility and desire to help the team.

Antony joined Manchester United from Ajax in 2022 for a reported £81 million but struggled to adapt to the Premier League. His recent form in Spain has reignited speculation about his future, with Betis fans already hoping for a permanent deal — or at least another year in green and white.
