Monaco - Marseille 3:0

Roberto De Zerbi’s turbulent start to life in Ligue 1 took another hit as Olympique de Marseille were soundly beaten 3–0 by AS Monaco in a high-stakes clash between direct rivals for second place.

The former Shakhtar Donetsk and Brighton boss is now facing mounting criticism after recording four losses in the last six matches. Tensions have reportedly boiled over in the dressing room, with French media citing conflicts between the Italian manager and his players — and Sunday’s result only deepened the crisis.

Takumi Minamino, Breel Embolo, and Denis Zakaria found the net for Monaco in a dominant display that leaves Marseille’s Champions League hopes hanging by a thread. Once considered contenders to push Paris Saint-Germain for the title, Marseille have now slipped to third — and could soon fall out of the top three entirely if their form doesn't improve.
