Inter Milan Edge Closer to Serie A Title with Dominant Cagliari Victory
Inter Milan took another decisive step toward reclaiming the Serie A title with a clinical 3–1 victory over Cagliari in Matchweek 32.
Marko Arnautović opened the scoring for the Nerazzurri before talisman Lautaro Martínez doubled their lead. Defender Yann Bisseck added a third to seal the win, rendering Roberto Piccoli’s goal for the visitors a mere consolation.
With this result, Inter remain firmly atop the Serie A standings and continue to set the pace in the title race. Napoli trail by six points, while Cagliari sit down in 15th, still looking over their shoulder in the battle to avoid relegation.
