Inter Milan have confirmed that star forward Marcus Thuram will be unavailable for the club’s upcoming fixtures after suffering a muscle issue.

The France international appeared fatigued during the recent 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League, and concerns were raised about his physical condition. On Friday morning, Thuram underwent medical examinations at the Istituto Humanitas di Rozzano, where tests revealed muscle fatigue in his left adductor.

"Marcus underwent a medical examination this morning," Inter said in an official statement. "Scans revealed fatigue in the adductor muscles of his left thigh. His condition will be monitored on a day-to-day basis."

According to Sky Sport Italia, the 26-year-old will definitely miss Sunday's Serie A clash against Bologna and is also in serious doubt for the crucial Coppa Italia semi-final second leg against AC Milan on April 23.

Thuram has been a standout performer for Inter this season, netting 17 goals and providing nine assists in 44 appearances across all competitions.
