Marseille - Montpellier 5:1

Mason Greenwood continued his sensational form in Ligue 1, scoring twice as Olympique Marseille thrashed Montpellier 5–1 to reclaim second place in the French top flight.

The on-loan English forward opened the scoring in the 8th minute from the penalty spot, setting the tone for a dominant performance at the Stade Vélodrome. Greenwood wasn’t done — he struck again in the second half with a composed finish from open play, taking his league tally to 18 goals this season.

With this double, Greenwood now trails only Moussa Dembélé in the Ligue 1 Golden Boot race, sitting just three goals behind the leader. His impact has been nothing short of game-changing for Marseille, who have surged into second place, edging ahead of AS Monaco by a single point.
