With their Premier League title ambitions intact and contract renewals for key stars like Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk progressing, Liverpool have already shifted focus to the upcoming transfer window.

According to The Telegraph, the Anfield club are planning a significant summer investment to strengthen both ends of the pitch — with a new striker, a left-back, and a central defender listed as top priorities.

Premier League: Fixtures, Results & Standings

Mail Sport has identified three names at the top of Liverpool’s shortlist: Dean Huijsen, Milos Kerkez, and Hugo Ekitike.

Dean Huijsen, the 20-year-old Spanish-born centre-back, has impressed at AFC Bournemouth this season with 32 appearances, 2 goals, and an assist. His defensive partner Milos Kerkez, the 21-year-old Hungarian left-back, has featured in 37 games, scoring twice and providing 6 assists.

Up front, Hugo Ekitike — currently starring for Eintracht Frankfurt — has been in scintillating form. The 22-year-old French forward has netted 22 goals and delivered 10 assists across 45 appearances in all competitions this campaign.

All three players fit Liverpool’s long-term vision, offering youth, versatility, and high ceilings. The summer window could mark the beginning of a fresh chapter under the club’s evolving sporting direction.
