Simone Inzaghi Has Left Inter Milan for Al Hilal in €30 Million Mega Deal
Simone Inzaghi has left Inter Milan after four successful seasons at the helm, with multiple Italian sources confirming that the 48-year-old head coach has accepted a staggering offer from Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inzaghi will earn an eye-watering €30 million per season in Saudi Arabia and is expected to officially sign his contract in the next 24 hours. He is also expected to take charge of Al Hilal for their opening match of the FIFA Club World Cup, scheduled for June 18.
Football Italia reports that Inzaghi informed Inter’s top management of his decision during a private meeting held on Tuesday. The club had hoped to keep him, but the financial lure — combined with a new challenge abroad — proved too strong to resist.
A Golden Era at Inter Comes to an End
Inzaghi took over Inter Milan in the summer of 2021 and leaves behind a remarkable legacy. Under his leadership, the Nerazzurri won the Serie A title, claimed two Coppa Italia trophies, and reached the UEFA Champions League final twice. His tactical flexibility and ability to navigate big games made him one of the most respected managers in European football.
