Real Madrid have officially presented Trent Alexander-Arnold as their newest signing

Real Madrid have officially presented Trent Alexander-Arnold as their newest signing, marking a historic move for both club and player. The 25-year-old England international has signed a long-term deal with Los Blancos, committing to the Spanish giants until 2031.

During his unveiling at the Santiago Bernabéu, Alexander-Arnold was gifted a commemorative replica of the iconic stadium, a custom watch, and his new No. 12 shirt.

Alexander-Arnold joined Real Madrid as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Liverpool, but the Spanish club still paid a symbolic €5 million compensation fee. According to reports, the early payment was made to ensure the defender could link up with the squad ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup and be registered in time for the summer tournament.

The Club World Cup kicks off on June 15, with Real Madrid’s first match scheduled for June 18 against Saudi champions Al Hilal. Alexander-Arnold is expected to be available for selection, offering manager Xabi Alonso an elite-level option on the right flank.
