Matheus Cunha Joins Manchester United in £63m Move from Wolves
Manchester United have officially announced the signing of Brazilian forward Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers, marking their first signing of the 2025 summer transfer window.
The deal is worth a reported £63 million, with Cunha putting pen to paper on a five-year contract that includes an option to extend for a further 12 months.
The 26-year-old attacker, who described joining United as a “dream come true,” brings experience and flair to Red Devils front line. Cunha has made 270 senior appearances across top-flight leagues in England, Spain, Germany, and Switzerland, scoring 72 goals during his club career.
Known for his creativity, off-the-ball movement, and versatility in the final third, Cunha is expected to add much-needed dynamism to United’s attacking options. His arrival comes as part of a wider summer rebuild at Old Trafford, with the club aiming to return to the top of the Premier League after a terrible season.
