Luis Enrique Personally Urges PSG to Finalise Zabarnyi Deal
Paris Saint-Germain have taken a major step forward in their pursuit of Illya Zabarnyi, with manager Luis Enrique reportedly making a direct request to the club's board to finalise the transfer of the Bournemouth defender.
According to Fichajes, Enrique sees the 21-year-old Ukrainian as a key target this summer, believing his profile fits perfectly with the tactical system being developed at the French champions. The manager’s personal intervention has accelerated negotiations between the two clubs.
French sources indicate that a transfer fee has already been agreed, with Bournemouth settling on a figure of €60 million. The Premier League side are said to have shown flexibility during talks, avoiding any unreasonable demands to allow the deal to move forward.
If completed, Zabarnyi would become PSG’s first major defensive signing of the summer, joining the ranks of young, technically proficient defenders that Luis Enrique is keen to build around.
