Ulsan Hyundai FC - Mamelodi Sundowns 0:1

Mamelodi Sundowns have made history as the first African club to claim a win at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025.

In a tense Group F encounter against South Korean side Ulsan Hyundai, the South African champions needed just one goal to secure all three points. The match-winner came courtesy of forward Iqraam Rayners, who found the net midway through the first half with a well-timed finish at the near post.

The result puts Sundowns at the top of Group F and marks a landmark moment not only for the club, but for African football as a whole.
