The Anfield club continues its ambitious squad overhaul ahead of the 2025/26 season

Liverpool have officially completed the signing of Hungarian left-back Milos Kerkez from AFC Bournemouth, in a deal worth £40 million.

The 20-year-old becomes the Reds’ third summer signing, following the arrivals of Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz, as the Anfield club continues its ambitious squad overhaul ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Kerkez, who impressed with his pace and maturity during his time on the south coast, spoke of his excitement at joining one of the most storied clubs in world football:

“It’s a huge honour to come and play for one of the biggest clubs in the world — and the strongest club in England,” said the Hungarian international during his unveiling.

The youngster could make his unofficial debut in red on July 13 in a pre-season friendly against Preston North End.
