David Beckham Hospitalised, Undergoes Surgery for Old Wrist Injury
Football icon David Beckham has been hospitalised and undergone surgery after experiencing what has been described as “unbearable pain,” according to Daily Mail.
The former England captain shared a photo from his hospital bed on social media. In another image, Beckham was seen wearing a hospital wristband inscribed with the message: “Get well soon.”
A source close to the family told the Daily Mail that Beckham underwent surgery to repair an old wrist injury — one he sustained more than two decades ago during a 2003 friendly between England and South Africa in Durban.
David Beckham is currently receiving medical treatment after Victoria Beckham posted a photo of him in a hospital bed, sparking concern over a possible broken arm.
