After spending the 2024/25 season on loan at Galatasaray, Osimhen left a lasting impression in Istanbul

Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano has revealed fresh developments in the high-stakes negotiations between Galatasaray and Napoli over the potential transfer of star striker Victor Osimhen.

According to Romano, Galatasaray have officially submitted a structured bid for the Nigerian forward, offering:

  • €40 million up front
  • + €17.5 million in additional payments
  • + €17.5 million in long-term installments

Napoli, who have been holding firm on their €75 million valuation, are reportedly open to the proposal in principle but are pushing for revised payment terms and stronger bank guarantees.

Victor Osimhen, 26, remains under contract with Napoli until June 2026, but his future is increasingly uncertain amid rising interest across Europe.

After spending the 2024/25 season on loan at Galatasaray, Osimhen left a lasting impression in Istanbul. The prolific striker racked up 37 goals and 8 assists in 41 appearances across all competitions, becoming a top priority for the Turkish champions.
