The long-running transfer saga is finally approaching its conclusion

After weeks of negotiations and speculation, the long-running transfer saga surrounding Victor Osimhen is finally approaching its conclusion. According to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, the Napoli striker is now just steps away from officially becoming a Galatasaray player.

"Galatasaray and Napoli, at the signing stage for all documents of Victor Osimhen deal. Lawyers working to get the agreement formally sealed over the weekend," Romano reported.

The financial structure of the deal has also evolved in Napoli’s favor. While the original agreement was expected to bring in €75 million — €40 million up front and €35 million in 12 months — the final contract includes a crucial 10% sell-on clause, ensuring Napoli a cut of any future transfer fee.

In addition, the Serie A club will benefit from performance-based bonuses linked to Osimhen’s number of appearances and goals scored in Turkey.

One key clause in the agreement: the Nigerian international cannot be sold to any Italian club for the next two years, a strategic move from Napoli to prevent a potential return to Serie A rivals.

The 25-year-old is expected to be officially unveiled by Galatasaray early next week once all formalities are completed.
