Brugge have sent a clear message: they won’t be pressured into selling on anyone else’s terms

AC Milan have hit a major roadblock in their bid to sign Ardon Jashari, after Club Brugge firmly rejected the Rossoneri’s final offer and expressed frustration with the club's negotiation tactics.

According to reports from Belgium, Brugge turned down Milan's latest bid of €33.5 million plus add-ons, falling short of the €40 million valuation they’ve placed on the 22-year-old Swiss midfielder.

The situation escalated on Sunday when Milan director Igli Tare publicly stated that the Italian side had made their final proposal and would not return with an improved offer. The timing of the announcement—just hours before Club Brugge's Belgian Pro League opener—reportedly irritated the Belgian club’s hierarchy.

Jashari, widely regarded as one of the most promising midfielders in Europe, has not featured in either of Brugge’s two most recent competitive fixtures: the Belgian Super Cup clash against Union Saint-Gilloise and their league opener against KRC Genk. His absence has only fuelled speculation surrounding a potential exit this summer.

For now, however, Milan’s chase appears to be over—and Brugge have sent a clear message: they won’t be pressured into selling on anyone else’s terms.
