The 21-year-old Ukrainian has reportedly made it clear that his preferred destination is Paris Saint-Germain

According to French outlet RMC Sport, Tottenham Hotspur are prepared to meet AFC Bournemouth's asking price for centre-back Illia Zabarnyi. However, the 21-year-old Ukrainian has reportedly made it clear that his preferred destination is Paris Saint-Germain.

Zabarnyi is said to have already agreed personal terms with PSG on a five-year contract. With the player firmly on board, the Parisian club is now negotiating with Bournemouth in an attempt to reduce the transfer fee.

Sources indicate that the gap between PSG’s current offer and Bournemouth’s valuation is less than €5 million — a relatively small margin that could be bridged soon if talks progress.

Illia Zabarnyi joined Bournemouth in January 2023 from Dynamo Kyiv in a €22.7 million deal. Since then, he has become a key figure in the Cherries’ backline and one of the most promising young defenders in the Premier League.
