Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly on the verge of completing a deal for Ilya Zabarnyi, with transfer expert Fabrizio Romano stating that the Ukrainian centre-back is just “days away” from joining the Ligue 1 giants.

The 21-year-old, currently playing for AFC Bournemouth, has been one of the standout young defenders in the Premier League, and his anticipated move to PSG signals the club’s intent to reinforce their backline ahead of the new season.

According to Romano, the Parisian club are working on two major signings simultaneously — alongside Zabarnyi, they are also in advanced talks to sign Lille goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier.

French journalist Abdellah Boulma has echoed the news, reporting that significant progress has been made between Bournemouth and PSG, though a final agreement is yet to be confirmed.

The potential fee for Zabarnyi is expected to be in the region of €60 million.
