Official: Iñigo Martínez Joins Al Nassr on Free Transfer
Al Nassr have officially signed Spanish centre-back Iñigo Martínez on a one-year deal, the Saudi Pro League club confirmed via their media department.
The 33-year-old defender arrives in Riyadh as a free agent after parting ways with FC Barcelona, where he enjoyed a trophy-laden stint that included winning La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the Spanish Super Cup.
A product of the Real Sociedad academy, Martínez made a name for himself in La Liga with consistent performances and leadership at the back. During his time at Barcelona, he featured in 71 matches and scored 3 goals — adding experience and depth to Xavi’s defensive line-up.
