A landmark move for Ukrainian football

The long-running transfer saga has come to an end — Illya Zabarnyi is officially a Paris Saint-Germain player. The Ligue 1 champions confirmed the signing across all official club channels, welcoming the Ukrainian international to the Parc des Princes.

Zabarnyi, 22, will wear the number 6 shirt in Paris and becomes the first Ukrainian player in PSG history — a landmark move both for the club and Ukrainian football.

While financial details have not been publicly disclosed, multiple reputable sources suggest AFC Bournemouth will receive a total of €66 million for the deal — comprising €63 million as a fixed fee plus €3 million in performance-related add-ons.
