The 19-year-old forward is expected to complete his move to the South Coast within the next 24 hours

Bournemouth have reached an agreement with Liverpool to sign highly rated youngster Ben Doak in a deal worth up to £25 million.

As reported by BBC Sport, the Cherries will pay an initial £20 million, with a further £5 million in potential add-ons. The 19-year-old forward is expected to complete his move to the South Coast within the next 24 hours, pending medical tests and final paperwork.

Doak was notably left out of Liverpool’s squad for their 4–2 win over Bournemouth at Anfield on Friday night, a clear indication that talks were already at an advanced stage.

Bournemouth appear to have beaten off competition from several other clubs, including Leeds United and Portuguese giants FC Porto, to land the Scotland U21 international.

Since joining Liverpool from Celtic in 2022, Doak has made just 10 senior appearances. The move to Bournemouth is expected to offer him significantly more first-team opportunities as he looks to take the next step in his development.
