AC Milan are on the verge of securing one of the most exciting attacking talents in European football, as talks intensify over the signing of Victor Boniface from Bayer Leverkusen, according to journalist Patrick Berger.

Direct negotiations are ongoing between the Italian giants and Bayer over a permanent dea. An official offer has been submitted within the last 48 hours, and Bayer are currently reviewing the proposal.

All parties reportedly expect the deal to go through smoothly. Boniface has already agreed personal terms with Milan and is now waiting for the final green light from the Bundesliga champions.

The 23-year-old Nigerian striker has made a huge impact at Bayer Leverkusen since arriving in the 2023/24 season, playing a key role in their historic domestic double — winning both the Bundesliga and the DFB-Pokal. He has scored an impressive 32 goals in 61 appearances for the club.
