FC Bayern Munich have struck a significant deal with Chelsea FC, securing the services of striker Nicolas Jackson on a season-long loan.

The agreement includes a €15 million fee for the one-year loan, with an option to buy set at €80 million. The 24-year-old Senegalese forward is scheduled to undergo his medical in Munich later today.

Jackson joined Chelsea in 2023 and has since made 65 appearances for the Blues, scoring 24 goals across all competitions. Known for his pace and ability to stretch defences, his move to the Bundesliga adds another dynamic weapon to Vincent Kompany's attacking options.

Bayern Munich are looking to bounce back in their Bundesliga campaign, with their second league fixture set to take place tonight — an away clash against FC Augsburg, kicking off at 18:30 CET.
