Chelsea FC has officially confirmed the signing of midfielder Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United.

The Argentina international, who turned 21 in July, has signed a long-term contract with the London club, extending until 2032.

Garnacho has already made 93 appearances in the Premier League and scored 16 goals, including a stunning bicycle kick against Everton that earned him the prestigious Puskás Award for 2024.

Speaking about his move, Garnacho said: "It’s an incredible moment for my family and I to join this great club. I can’t wait to get started. I watched the Club World Cup and to join the world champions is special – we’re the best team in the world! It’s amazing to be here and I’m very happy."
