p>Liverpool have made a major defensive addition on transfer deadline day, securing the signing of Marc Guéhi from Crystal Palace for a reported fee of £35 million (€40m).

The deal also includes a 10% sell-on clause, meaning Palace will profit from any future transfer involving the England international.

Guéhi, 25, is a product of the Chelsea Academy and joined Crystal Palace in 2021. Since then, he has developed into one of the most consistent centre-backs in the Premier League and earned a regular spot in England squad.
