Napoli have officially signed Rasmus Højlund from Manchester United on a season-long loan with an obligation to buy next summer for a fee of £38 million.

The 22-year-old Denmark international endured a difficult 2024/25 campaign at Old Trafford, managing just four Premier League goals and struggling to live up to expectations following his high-profile move from Atalanta.

With United heavily reinforcing their attacking line this summer — bringing in Benjamin Šeško, Matheus Cunha, and Bryan Mbeumo — Højlund found himself surplus to requirements under Ruben Amorim.
