Liverpool have officially announced the signing of Alexander Isak from Newcastle United, completing one of the biggest transfers of the summer window on deadline day.

The Sweden international joins the Premier League champions on a long-term contract and will wear the club’s iconic No. 9 shirt. The deal was finalised after Isak successfully completed his medical late on deadline day.

Isak has established himself as one of the most clinical strikers in English football since arriving from Real Sociedad in the summer of 2022. In just three seasons at Newcastle, he scored 62 goals in 109 appearances across all competitions - earning a reputation as a top-tier forward.
