Oleksandr Zinchenko Joins Nottingham Forest
Nottingham Forest have officially confirmed the signing of Oleksandr Zinchenko on a season-long loan from Arsenal for the 2025/26 campaign.
The 27-year-old Ukraine international had fallen down the pecking order under Mikel Arteta, having lost his place in Arsenal’s starting XI during the second half of last season. Zinchenko was also left out of the matchday squad for the opening two games of the current Premier League campaign.
Zinchenko joined Arsenal from Manchester City in July 2022 for a fee of €35 million and was initially seen as a key figure in Arteta’s tactical setup thanks to his positional versatility and leadership qualities. He made 67 appearances for the Gunners, scoring once and assisting seven times.
