And if there were any doubts about his ability to shine on a new continent, they’ve been resoundingly silenced

The MLS regular season delivered another spectacular night of football as the Vancouver Whitecaps crushed the Philadelphia Union with a stunning 7-0 victory.

Leading the charge was none other than Thomas Müller, the iconic former Bayern Munich star, who celebrated his 36th birthday in unforgettable style. The German forward netted his first-ever hat-trick in MLS — and did it in emphatic fashion. Two of his goals came from the penalty spot, while he also chipped in with a classy assist.

This marks Müller's first hat-trick since 2018, when he last achieved the feat playing for FC Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga. And if there were any doubts about his ability to shine on a new continent, they’ve been resoundingly silenced.
