Karim Benzema completes move to Al-Hilal

Karim Benzema has officially joined Al-Hilal, the current leaders of the Saudi Pro League. Following a contract dispute with Al-Ittihad over an extension, the 38-year-old French forward signed a one-and-a-half-year deal that will keep him at the club until June 2027.
Since arriving in Saudi Arabia in 2023, Benzema has featured in 83 matches, scoring 54 goals and providing 17 assists, underlining his continued influence in front of goal.
At his new club, the Ballon d’Or 2022 winner joins a star-studded squad led by Simone Inzaghi. Al-Hilal already boast the likes of Théo Hernandez, Kalidou Koulibaly, Darwin Núñez, Malcom, as well as Rúben Neves and Sergej Milinković-Savić.
Benzema’s switch to Al-Hilal — a direct rival in the title race — stands out as one of the most high-profile transfers on deadline day.
