Atalanta have officially confirmed the appointment of Maurizio Sarri as their new head coach.

The move had been expected for several weeks, with reports linking Sarri to the Bergamo-based club since the end of May. However, negotiations have now been successfully concluded, allowing Atalanta to unveil their new manager ahead of the upcoming campaign.

Maurizio Sarri has signed a contract that will keep him at Atalanta until June 2029, underlining the club's confidence in the veteran coach and their long-term vision for the project.

According to reports, the former Lazio boss will earn approximately €3.5 million per season as part of the agreement.
