Official: Mykhailo Mudryk joins Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur have officially announced the loan signing of Ukrainian winger Mykhailo Mudryk from Chelsea. The 25-year-old will spend the entire 2026/27 season with the north London club.
The deal is understood to include an option to buy. Tottenham Hotspur will be able to make Mudryk’s move permanent by paying £75 million at the end of the current campaign.
Mykhailo Mudryk has been out of competitive football for 20 months following a positive doping test. The winger returned to training with Chelsea in early August and featured in several matches during the club’s pre-season campaign. However, he ultimately fell out of favour under new head coach Xabi Alonso.
The move to Tottenham Hotspur also reunites Mudryk with head coach Roberto De Zerbi. The Italian previously worked with the winger at Shakhtar Donetsk, where Mudryk made his breakthrough on the European stage.
